hardy earth-grown perennial nursery & garden

Hi! My name is Sandy Reebel. I started out growing perennial flowers for my husband Jake's landscaping company in 1999. I began growing my own plants because it was so difficult to find perennials that thrived (or even survived!) our nasty nothern Michigan winters, or in clay-heavy soils. It was also nearly impossible to find the variety of sizes, colors, and textures we needed for our landscaping business, and I found that the perennials grown in the popular soil-less mix were a pain for our clients, because they would need to be watered constantly and fed tons of nutrients just to coax them to perk up and grow strong roots. I eventually realized that the only way we would be able to provide the wide variety of strong, healthy plants that we needed was if I grew them myself!

I am currently growing over 1,000 varieties of perennials. Each variety has been hand selected for its outstanding features and benefits to the garden.

Since I have been raising earth-grown plants from seed for nearly 10 years, I understand how each specific plant starts off and grows, its root system, how the plant reseeds itself, and how it should be divided. With my extensive background as a landscape designer, co-owner of a landscaping business, a professional nurseryman and certified Master Gardener, I know perennials - which is fantastic for you!

Come visit us and see the difference for yourself that hardy, earth-grown perennials will make in your landscape!
